THE UNEXPLAINABLE

For those of you who aren't familiar with my style of writing, or haven't read any of my books, I would like to say that this one was a real challenge for me to write.

I grew up in a town called Montrose, Colorado. Being a country girl, many of my stories revolve around country living or a small town atmosphere.

The title, The Unexplainable, was chosen by me because of the stories themselves. With all the mysteries of the world that we are faced with each day, I take you in a new direction of wondering whether any of this could actually happen in our time period of life.

Sit back and enjoy these stories that will give your thoughts a ride of a lifetime. After reading them, remember that this book is only fiction, or is it?

The first story, "The Unknown Road Going Nowhere", is about a young woman who, after many years of devastation and wrong choices, decides to change her life and travel in a different direction to an unknown place where she hopes she will find a better life, with joy and not pain. In a new town she finds more than she expected and a mystery that challenges her mind of seeing and believing.

The second story, "Shadows in the Night", is about a man who ends up in a city a long ways from where he lived, needing a new start and not knowing that this new start for his life could end his life, because of the danger from three men who are up to no good.

The third story, "The Antique Clock", is about a man and his wife who find out that an item they bought has a history behind it, and that it is capable of just about anything.

The fourth story, "Is He or Isn't He?", is about a woman who meets a man she isn't sure about, and continues to wonder about.

The fifth story, "Check In, But Can't Check Out", is about two young women who defy their parents' wishes and travel to different places they have dreamed about. When danger comes from a place they could never expect it to, they find themselves wondering what to do to avoid it.

As with all of my books, I try to give my readers a lesson of what can maybe happen to them on any day. Fact or fiction?

Now that I have shared with you a brief summary of what each story is about, it is up to you, the reader, to decide if any of these tales are capable of happening at any given moment, or if they are just something that an author such as myself completely made up to captivate her readers.

However you interpret the book, remember that there are strange happenings every day that surround us, or out of bad choices we find ourselves in the middle of. With all of this in mind, enjoy the fictional stories that will make you think.
