DEPRIVATION
For those of you who aren't familiar with any of my books, or my style of writing, I would like to say that this one took me on a journey in my mind to bring you stories that will thrill and chill you.
I grew up in a town called Montrose, Colorado. Most of my stories have revolved around a small town atmosphere, but with this book, I am taking you in a different direction.
With all of my stories, I like to give my readers a look at the unknown, and leave you wondering if any of them could actually happen in our time period of life.
Sit back and enjoy the stories that will give you a ride of a lifetime. When you have finished reading them, remember that they are only fiction, or are they?
The first story, "STORM BEFORE THE CALM", is about a man who grew up in a dysfunctional family searching for answers to why his life has been turned upside down.
The second story, "FEAR AND WHAT IT BRINGS", is about a woman who learns how to live a normal life with help from may people. She grows up with a whole new perspective of where she needs to be in her mind to make this happen.
The third story, "ON THE ROAD AGAIN", is about a young woman who chooses a career that takes her to a place in search of a family member who wouldn't have survived without her help.
The fourth story, "THE TOWN THAT DIDN'T EXIST", is about a man who grew to realize that the journey he was living was different than anything that he ever could have imagined it to be.
The fifth story, "THE FACE BEHIND THE MASK", is about two women who travel to a place to get away from everyday reality, where one of the women finds her worst nightmare.
I named the book DEPRIVATION because of the stories themselves. Not just in my book, but in everyone's life, we find that we have been deprived of something that we feel we deserved to have.
As with all of my books, I try to give my readers a lesson of what can maybe happen to them or an idea of what someone else in their life has experienced.Now that I have shared with you a brief summary of what each story is about, it is up to you, the reader, to decide if any of these tales are capable of happening at any given moment, or if they are just something that an author such as myself completely made up to captivate her readers. Fact or fiction?
However you interpret the book, remember that there are strange happenings every day that surround us, or out of bad choices we find ourselves in the middle of. With all of this in mind, enjoy the fictional stories that will make you think.
